Family Pumpkin Picking

We went to Didier Farm today to pick a few pumpkins for the front porch. Skylar liked the sheep and pigs, and loved watching all the people walking around through the pumpkin patches. She didn't love posing for the pictures as it took away from people watching. It was a nice first.

Skylar's New Friend Mia Vietmeier

Adam, Steph, and Mia Vietmeier spent Sunday afternoon at our house. It was Skylar's first playdate. They seemed to enjoy each other's company, but who really knows at this point. It was a fun afternoon for the parents for sure.

Winters On Its Way

Thank you Great Grandma Welborn for this beautiful little coat. Skylar seems to really like it.

The jacket Kristin and I bought for Skylar. She literally cannot move, but she's warm! Anybody remember the little brother from a Christmas Story?
She smiled because her mouth is the only thing that can move.

Skylar's New Toy

It took her 3 days to warm up to it, but now she can't get enough of her new toy. Yesterday she sat and played in it for an hour straight without Kristin or I having to do anything. Maybe Kristin and I love the toy more than Skylar does!

Skylar is 7 Months Old Today!

We can't believe Skylar is already 7 months old. She is becoming more and more a little girl and less of a baby. We had to go shopping the other night to get her a winter coat, hat, mittens and boots as it's officially Fall here in Chicago. Today's high, 58 degrees! Here's Skylar ready for church wearing her new boots and the first time she's wearing a head band. Suprisingly, after the service, the head band was still in tact, however the shoes were not. And yes, she is wearing a dress, it just looks like she is going in tights. It's hard to be ladylike in a carrier!
